DHL Global Forwarding (Austria) is the new premium partner of ConnectChains
ConnectChains – The Humanitarian Supply Chain Conference has a new premium partner: air and ocean freight specialist DHL Global Forwarding. The fourth edition of the Logistics Hall of Fame’s international conference will take place on December 4, 2026, at the Vienna Airport Conference & Innovation Center.
In addition to DHL Global Forwarding, the event is supported by the Fritz Institute (USA), duisport (Germany), and ViennaAirport City (Austria) as premium partners.
The conference is distinguished by the fact that representatives from the business community, together with representatives from humanitarian organizations, present best practices for collaboration and partnerships to develop strategies for the future in the field of supply chain management. A key focus is on increasing efficiency through the use of artificial intelligence in humanitarian logistics.
As part of the partnership, a 90-minute guided tour of the DHL Campus Vienna Airport will be take place on December 3 at 3:00 p.m. for participants from humanitarian organizations. The tour will focus on the temperature-controlled warehouse where pharmaceutical products are handled, some of which are transported as humanitarian aid to crisis regions.
In addition to approximately 3,500 square meters of office space, the DHL Campus Vienna Airport comprises two cargo terminals totaling approximately 12,000 square meters. These are divided into approximately 5,000 square meters of customs, warehousing, and handling space for air and ocean freight, as well as approximately 7,000 square meters for land transport.
